Why do most begin a therapeutic journey? To deepen and heal their relationship with themselves. But that typically entails the relationship with many different parts of themselves, as well as parts of their lives.
When attention is focused or stuck around one part, we enter a state of fragmentation. Fragmentation is the basis for any and all dysfunction. A fragmented nervous system is in competition with itself, which often leads to competition and suffering with those surrounding. Our systems are meant to work in collaboration not competition.
My focus is to increase integrated states interpersonally (between you and others) as well as intrapersonally (between you and parts of yourself). I’m a trained behavior analyst but my work spans beyond the overt patterns. We not only need to heal the interwoven psychological and behavioral, but our biological understanding of who we are, the programming of our nervous systems, and our patterns of response to sensation.
I work with individuals, couples and groups including but not limited to families and professional organizations. I additionally work in ceremonial practice (micro and macro) with altered states of consciousness with an emphasis on integration.
